Good afternoon, Warren Scholars, Families, and Staff,
We have a few important announcements for the week of September 20.
It has been a tradition for the past three years to collect valuable feedback and input from our students, staff, and families to improve our experiences and outcomes. This Friday, September 22, our fall family/caregiver survey window opens. Investing in relationships with families and the community is one of the pillars of Warren’s strategic plan. It is very important for us to get family and caregiver feedback to determine what is going well, as well as look ahead to the rest of the school year and identify areas of growth. Your feedback is reviewed at both the school and district level. As a valued partner, we would like your input on how our schools are doing with school climate, communication, and family needs. Please look for a survey link in school newsletters and our website beginning Friday, September 22nd. If you have students at multiple schools in Warren, we encourage you to take a survey for each school your children currently attend. We value you and appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences with us.
Another long-standing tradition in Warren is our Warren Central High School Pink Week, in which our high school students, staff, and families raise awareness and money to support the fight against Cancer. This year’s Pink Week will conclude with our Varsity Football team playing at home against Pike. We would love to pack Warrior Stadium with a Pink Out! Our District-wide Parent / caregiver-teacher conferences are scheduled for after school hours on Thursday, October 5th, and the morning of Friday, October 6th. Just a reminder to accommodate time for parents / caregivers and teachers to meet, there is no school for students on Friday, October 6th. You should start seeing guidance on how to sign up for your conference time over the next week.
Just a reminder, that our fall intersession break will be from October 9 - 20. School will resume on Monday, October 23rd.
