June 4, 2025
Good Afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff,
We have some important summer information.
Earlier today, we shared individual student reports from the Spring ILEARN assessment through ParentSquare for students in grades 3–8. These reports offer a snapshot of your child’s performance on grade-level standards in areas such as English/Language Arts and Math, while also highlighting strengths and areas for growth. While proficiency levels (Below, Approaching, At, or Above) indicate how well your child met expectations, test scores are just one part of their overall progress. For a more complete understanding, consider these results alongside classroom work, report cards, and teacher feedback.
If you have any questions about your child’s results or how we use them to guide instruction, please reach out to your child’s school principal.
While we hope students are enjoying their summer break, we also encourage them to keep reading and practicing foundational skills when possible. Students can continue using their IXL accounts to strengthen ELA and Math skills, and the Indianapolis Public Library is running its 2025 Summer Reading Program, which offers a great opportunity for both kids and adults to stay engaged.
