Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
The countdown continues—there are officially 30 days left in the semester, but more than enough time for our students to finish strong.
Please note that tutoring has resumed on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45–3:45 PM. Students staying after school should report directly to the West Cafeteria. All students must have their own transportation home and should be picked up at Door 21.
Additionally, academic support is available during the school day on Gold Wednesdays and Gold Thursdays during advisory. Students can sign up for this support using the link provided in our Sunday newsletter.
As always, teachers are the first line of support. I encourage you to have your student connect directly with their teachers for any additional help they may need. You can also stay updated on your student’s progress through the ParentVUE app. Please note that a new version of the app is now available—we encourage all families to download it. More details can be found in the Sunday newsletter.
Prom tickets are still on sale during lunch for students planning to attend. We are excited about our new venue and can’t wait to see our students dressed to impress!
Finally, as we move through these final 30 days, I encourage families to check in with their students by asking:
• How are you doing in your classes?
• What can I do to help?
• Are you taking advantage of academic supports?
• Have you reached out to your teachers for support?
Please note that Mid-Quarter 4 ends on April 17, and grades will be posted by April 22.
Let’s continue to stay the course and support our students as they finish the semester strong!
