Stonybrook Intermediate Academy 6th graders are eligible to participate in certain athletic activities. Should a SIA 6th grader choose to participate in athletics, he/she will fall under the direction of the Stonybrook Middle School Athletic Department. The goal of the Stonybrook Middle School Athletic Department is to provide the best opportunity for their athletes to excel in teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and moral character. The purpose is to provide participants with experiences that will be positive, memorable, and those that will help them to develop the capacity for commitment to a cause, acceptance of responsibility, and loyalty toward any chosen endeavor. It is hoped that these traits will be carried with the athletes to the Warren Central High School Athletic Program.

The Stonybrook Intermediate/Middle School Athletic Department offers a variety of competitive athletic teams open to student involvement. The following programs will be available to 6th grade students:


  • 5th - 8th Boy's/Girl's Cross Country
  • 5th - 8th Boy's/Girl's Tennis


  • 5th - 8th Wrestling


  • 5th - 8th Boy's/Girl's Track


  • 5th - 8th Girl's Golf
  • 5th - 8th Boy's/Girl's Swimming
  • 5th - 8th Boy's Golf
